I was nervous to buy grey stones. I was worried they would be dull and lifeless, but I couldn't have been more wrong! These manage to be a wonderful stormy grey color with all the sparkle and shine you expect from vintage Swarovski Crystals. Just totally magnificent and unexpected! The necklace transitions seamlessly from everyday wear to a special occasion to a Regency ball. It is surprisingly versatile!

So I put them into my favorite settings, custom made for me, with elaborate crown prongs and offset loops to prevent them from flipping. They are open-backed settings, which is a great way to present these beautiful stones.
